Kategorie I

Solisten bis zum vollendeten 12. Lebensjahr (Geburtsdatum 7. Mai 2011 oder später)
Soloists up to the age of 12

Kategorie II

Solisten bis zum vollendeten 15. Lebensjahr (Geburtsdatum 7. Mai 2008 oder später)
Soloists up to the age of 15

Kategorie III

Solisten bis zum vollendeten 18. Lebensjahr (Geburtsdatum 7. Mai 2005 oder später)
Soloists up to the age of 18

Kategorie IV

Solisten ohne Altersbegrenzung
Soloists of any age

Kategorie V

Akkordeonduos, Akkordeontrios, Akkordeonquartette, Akkordeonquintette, Instrumentalduos besetzt mit einem Akkordeon und einem anderen Instrument oder Gesang, Ensembles bis zu 5 Musiker mit mindestens einem aber höchstens 2 Akkordeons, es ist im Ensemble auch eine Gesangsstimme zugelassen.
Accordion duos, accordion trios, accordion quartets, accordion quintets, Instrumental duos consisting of an accordion and one other instrument or singing voice, Ensembles consisting of up to 5 musicians with at least one but not more than 2 accordions, one     singing voice is also allowed in the ensemble

Kategorie VI

Solisten ohne Altersbegrenzung mit virtuoser Unterhaltungsmusik
Soloists of any age performing virtuosic light music

Kategorie VII

Weltmusik – offen für Solisten mit chromatischen und diatonischen Instrumenten ohne Altersbegrenzung
World Music – open to soloists with chromatic and diatonic instruments without age limit
